3D Histogram

3D histograms are similar to 3D surface charts. However, they are not smoothed out. The fact that they are not smoothed out can help when working with discrete variables. In other words, a 3D histogram of discrete variables that tend towards continuity yields a 3D surface graph. As with 3D surface charts, they describe the functional relationship between two independent variables and one dependent variable. Colors are commonly used to show the variance of data.
