Scatter Plot with Trend Line

Scatter plots with a trend curve visualize two variables of a dataset. The trend line visualizes the relationship between the two variables. The trend line, otherwise known as the best-fit line, is usually calculated through linear regression estimation. The most common procedure to estimate this line is known as Ordinary Least Squares.
