At the Lab, we design experiences that combine data, design, and pedagogy through analog, physical, and interactive formats. From tote bags with visualizations to workshops where numbers turn into dialogue, we seek innovative ways to spark curiosity, reflection, and civic engagement.
In a world oversaturated with information, connecting people with data takes creativity. At the Lab, we develop unconventional visualizations on everyday objects like t-shirts, tote bags, and posters — available at Casa Datasketch, located at Calle 71 #10-47, Bogotá, Colombia.
These objects are more than just design pieces — they are narrative tools that communicate topics we believe deserve attention. For example, a poster visualizing the 1,025 murders of LGBTI people in Latin America and the Caribbean, or a t-shirt representing 200 years of global temperature change.\

A space for gathering and dialogue
Datasketch Lab is also an open space for learning and sharing. We host workshops, talks, and more, exploring a wide variety of topics related to data and technology. Organizations, community members, and individuals interested in collectively reflecting on the role of data in our lives all participate.
We aim to foster an active, accessible, and collaborative data culture. That’s why, for the past few months, we’ve been organizing weekly Monday events where data takes center stage: we’ve created fanzines, discussed films, and read together — always with the goal of bringing knowledge closer and putting it into circulation.\
